Our Lady of Mount Carmel Roman Catholic Church was built at Canada Harbour in 1927 by master builders William Symmonds of Conche and Azariah Small of Springdale. The Church was moved to Englee, three miles by barge, in 1970 when the residents left Canada Harbour during the resettlement program. The Church still stands today and has undergone some minor repairs over the years, with Holy Mass still being held there throughout the year. Accessibility:
